IELTS Speaking Task 02:<\/span><\/h2>\n

In the IELTS speaking part 2 test you will be given a task card on a particular topic, and this will include key points that you should talk about.\u00a0This section of the Speaking test gives you the opportunity to speak for longer on a topic.\u00a0You will be given one minute to prepare to talk about the topic on the task card. \u00a0A pencil and paper will be provided for you to make notes.\u00a0You will have to talk for 1-2 minutes, and then the examiner will ask you one or two questions on the same topic. Part 2 takes 3-4 minutes in total.\u00a0In the\u00a0IELTS\u00a0Speaking test, you will be given exactly 1 minute to prepare yourself to talk about a particular topic and this topic is called\u00a0IELTS Cue card\u00a0or Candidate Task\u00a0Card. The instructions to guide your talk are written on a\u00a0card\u00a0given to you by the examiner.<\/p>\n

  • Explain why is it the favourite photograph for you?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    How to practise<\/span><\/h6>\n

    Ask your study partner to listen while you speak about the task card topic. You should talk for 1-2 minutes.\u00a0Your study partner should then ask you one or two questions on the same topic using the rounding off questions.\u00a0Record yourself if you can.<\/p>\n
