IELTS Speaking Task 03:<\/span><\/h2>\n

After you are done with the \u2018Cue Card\/Candidate Task Card\u2019, which is the second part of the speaking test, the examiner will move on and ask you some follow-up questions. These follow-up questions are mostly related to the cue card topic you were given. Follow-up questions, also known as \u2018details discussion\u2019 comprise part three of the IELTS speaking test.In part 3 of the Speaking test the examiner will ask further questions which are connected to the topics \u00a0discussed in part 2.\u00a0This part of the test is designed to give you the opportunity to talk about more abstract issues and ideas. It is a two-way discussion with the examiner, and will last 4-5 minutes.<\/p>\n

How to practise<\/span><\/h6>\n

Ask your study partner to prompt your practice test discussion using the questions below. Try to speak as naturally and fluently as possible. Record your discussion if you can.<\/p>\n
