For Pakistani residents, the Embassy is entitled to issue Schengen visas for travels to the Czech Republic as well as to Slovakia.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>To submit your visa application, you shall make an appointment through VFS (Gerry&#8217;s) first. If your intended stay in the Czech Republic does not exceed 90 days in any 180-day period, you are entitled to apply for a Schengen (i.e. short-term) visa.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/idg6vW3vXtE\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Czech Republic Short-Term Visa:<br \/>\nApplicants from Pakistan are\u00a0entitled to apply for a Schengen visa at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Islamabad\u00a0(or through Gerry&#8217;s in Islamabad) if the applicants match of the following criteria:<br \/>\n&#8211; a legal resident (i.e. citizen or a legal long-term resident) of Pakistan willing to travel to the Czech Republic or Slovakia<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h6 class=\"article_title\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Schengen Visa | Short-Term Visa:<\/span><\/h6>\n<div class=\"article_body\">\n<p>You are\u00a0<strong>entitled to apply for a Schengen visa at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Islamabad<\/strong>\u00a0(or through Gerry&#8217;s in Islamabad) if you match one of the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; a legal resident (i.e. citizen or a legal long-term resident) of Pakistan willing to travel to the Czech Republic or Slovakia<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; a legal resident (i.e. citizen or a legal long-term resident) of Afghanistan willing to travel to the Czech Republic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Holders of diplomatic and official (blue) passports of Pakistan are free to enter the Czech Republic (as well as Slovakia) without visa, if their stay at the territory does not exceed 90 days.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>For submission of your application (see the application form\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mzv.cz\/jnp\/en\/information_for_aliens\/visa_form\/index.html\">here<\/a>), you need to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.czechrepublicvisa-pakistan.com\/\"><strong>make an appointment first<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Islamabad has been outsourcing collection of Schengen visa applications since December 3, 2018. The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.czechrepublicvisa-pakistan.com\/\">appointment system<\/a>\u00a0is opened from November 27, 2018. Kindly note that you can submit your Schengen visa application only in Islamabad &#8211; either at the Embassy or at Gerry&#8217;s in Islamabad (Visa Application Center is located at Park Road, Chattha Bakhtawar, Chak Shazad, Islamabad).<\/p>\n<p>Both applicants proceeding though Gerry&#8217;s in Islamabad and those applying directly at the Embassy must go through the same\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.czechrepublicvisa-pakistan.com\/\">appointment system administered by VFS Company<\/a>. Please note that neither the Embassy nor the Gerry&#8217;s will accept any application without a prior appointment arranged through the system.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that even if you lodge your Schengen visa application at the Visa Application Center, you may be invited to appear personally at an\u00a0<strong>interview at the Embassy\u00a0<\/strong>of the Czech Republic in Islamabad at any point of the visa application processing.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants are advised, especially over holiday periods, to apply for their visas\u00a0<strong>well in advance<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; as per the Visa Code a visa application can be submitted up to 3 months prior to the date of departure and\u00a0applicants should allow 15 days for the processing of their applications.<\/p>\n<p>The decisions on Schengen visa applications are taken usually in 15 days, however, if more investigation is needed, the processing time can be extended to up to 60 days.<\/p>\n<p>For appointments and all inquiries about Schengen visa issues,\u00a0<strong>contact the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.czechrepublicvisa-pakistan.com\/\">call centre<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>Before contacting them, make sure that the information you are searching for, is not available at the websites. If you have any extraordinary query to which the call centre may not be able to give you an answer, you can reach the Embassy directly at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:consulate_islamabad@mzv.cz\">consulate_islamabad@mzv.cz<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Please note, that visa will be annulled or revoked, where it becomes evident that the conditions for issuing it are no longer met (e.g. cancellation of hotel reservation, air ticket reservation, etc. after the issuance of visa!)<\/p>\n<p>Please, make sure to bring all of the\u00a0<strong>supporting documents<\/strong>\u00a0together with your visa application, as listed below.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/stvisapro.com\/images\/page_images\/czech-republic-tourist-visa-event.jpg\" width=\"1200\" height=\"628\" \/><\/p>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Czech Republic Tourist Visa Requirements:<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<p>If you wish to apply for a Schengen visa, you need to provide the Embassy with:<\/p>\n<p>1 &#8211;\u00a0<strong>Application form<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; The form should be completed legibly in capital letters and signed by the applicant or in case of children under 15, by the legal guardian. Two signatures are needed at the application form in respective parts (field no. 37, and the final part of the form). Each applicant must present a SEPARATE APPLICATION FORM and a SEPARATE SET OF DOCUMENTS even for children travelling on a parent&#8217;s passport!<\/p>\n<p>More information on how to obtain an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mzv.cz\/jnp\/en\/information_for_aliens\/visa_form\/index.html\"><strong>application form<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Arrival\/departure dates mentioned in the application form must be IDENTICAL to those mentioned in all supporting documents (e.g. Travel Insurance, Proof of Transport, Invitation, Accommodation). Two signatures of the applicant are required on the third page of the application form.<\/p>\n<p>2 &#8211;\u00a0<strong>Passports\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 The current passport must be valid for a minimum of 90 days beyond the validity of the requested visa. Applicants who do not have a residence permit in Pakistan must apply for a visa in their home country. Please, kindly\u00a0<strong>bring also all your previous Pakistani passports<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The current passport must have been issued within the last 10 years and it must have a minimum of 2 blank visa pages in order to affix the visa.<\/p>\n<p><em>Remark: As from the 19th of July 2013, pursuant to Article 5 \u00a71 of the Schengen Borders Code, note that third-country nationals, both those who require a visa and those who do not, when travelling for intended stays of no more than 90 days per period of 180 days in the Schengen area, must hold a valid travel document satisfying the following criteria:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>\u00a0its validity shall extend at least three months after the intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States or, in the case of several visits, after the last intended date of departure from the territory of the Member States.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>\u00a0it shall have been issued within the previous 10 years.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The applicant must also provide a photocopy of the passport data page.<\/p>\n<p>3 &#8211;\u00a0<strong>One recent passport photograph<\/strong>\u00a0(with light\/ideally white background, not dark! size: not smaller than 3,5cm x 4,5cm, with proper position of the face &#8211; please\u00a0<strong>attach your photograph with glue<\/strong>, do not staple).<\/p>\n<p>4 &#8211;\u00a0<strong>Relevant supporting documents\u00a0<\/strong>(for the list see below)<\/p>\n<p>5 &#8211;\u00a0<strong>The applicable current visa fee \u2013<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mzv.cz\/jnp\/en\/information_for_aliens\/general_visa_information\/visa_fee_schedule\/index.html\"><strong>information on exact visa fees<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nIn accordance with the Czech Republic&#8217;s current legal regulations which relate to administrative charges, a visa fee is charged at the time of submission of an application for a Czech\/Schengen visa. The fee is non-refundable even in the case of a visa not being granted or an issued visa not being used for any reason.\u00a0 The fee has to be paid only in EUR. The Embassy receives the fee only in cash.<\/p>\n<p>6 &#8211;\u00a0<strong>Fingerprints \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>The Embassy collects fingerprints of all visa applicants, with following exemptions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; children under age of 12 years<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; persons for whom fingerprinting is physically impossible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Further exemptions given in the Visa Code are irrelevant for the applicants at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Islamabad.<\/p>\n<p>7 &#8211;\u00a0<strong>Proof of valid travel insurance and receipt<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Applicants must provide their travel insurance certificate, the receipt and the Terms and Conditions pages. Quotations for insurance are not taken as proof of cover. The insurance should state that it covers all medical expenses including emergency hospital treatment and repatriation for the period of your stay in the Schengen area. The insurance must be valid throughout the territory of the Member States and cover the entire period of the person&#8217;s intended stay. The certificate should state the name of the person\/s covered, the period of cover and the level of cover. The insurance certificate must be brought with you as the policy number alone will also not be taken as proof of cover. The insurance company must be registered in either Pakistan or the Czech Republic. The minimum coverage is 30 000 EUR.<\/p>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>Supporting Documents:<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<p><strong>Supporting documents to be submitted BY ALL APPLICANTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>1 &#8211; Proof of residence:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; for Pakistani Nationals: copy of Pakistani identity card (CNIC);<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; for non-Pakistani Nationals: proof of legal residence in Pakistan as appropriate (such as long stay visa, and\/or residence or work permit);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2 &#8211; Proof of means of transport:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; flight reservation of air ticket (return or round trip) from\/to Pakistan and the Member State of destination;<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; if trips include several stops in the territory of the Member States, reservations of intra-Schengen itinerary (train, flights, car rental);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3 &#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Proof of lodging:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; reservation of accommodation for the entire duration of the stay in the territory of the Member States (hotel, aparthotel, holiday home, camping, youth hostel); or<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; if residing with family, friends and sponsor, proof of sponsorship and\/or private accommodation with the exact address specified; it is advisable to have the proof of sponsorship and\/or private accommodation by the Czech Immigration Authority (the formal form can be obtained by your host at his local town authorities in Czech Republic);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>4 &#8211; Proof of financial means and ties to the country of residence:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4.1\u00a0<strong>Family Registration Certificate<\/strong>\u00a0(FRC) issued in English by NADRA (Pakistan National Database and Registration Authority),\u00a0including all members of your closest family.<\/p>\n<p>4.2\u00a0<strong>Main proofs of financial means<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; bank statements showing movements in at least last six months, duly signed and stamped by the bank (the statement\/s must show your name and address and the statement date should be less than 15 days old at the time of your application; the final balance should reflect the real financial situation of the applicant); if submitting a company&#8217;s bank statement, do not forget to enclose also your\u00a0<strong>personal\u00a0<\/strong>bank account statement (covering transactions of at least last 6 months);<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; National Tax Number Certificate (or proof of exemption if applicable); and<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Federal Board of Revenue acknowledgement of tax returns for the last two fiscal years before the application date;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>or, if one of the above cannot be produced,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; other proof, supported by documents, of income generating assets or other means of subsistence as applicable;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note: Cash will not be accepted as proof of funds.<\/p>\n<p>4.3\u00a0<strong><em>Additional\u00a0<\/em>and specific proof of financial means or ties with country of residence, depending on the status of the applicant:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>If the applicant is employed:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; payslips for at least last three months before the application date;<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; copy of the employment contract;<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; an employer&#8217;s letter (NOC) stating the approval for leave of absence, specifying the\u00a0<strong>dates of absence<\/strong>, position and salary of the employee, duration of employment, purpose of absence, contact number of employer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If the applicant is a company owner or self-employed:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; certificate of registration of the company;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If the applicant is a civil servant\/government employee:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; Non Objection Certificate (NOC) issued by the Administration\/public service employing the applicant stating the dates of the intended visit (for travel others than those for official purposes \u2013 see point 2);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If the applicant is retired:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; pension statements for at least the last six months;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If the applicant is sponsored:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; proof of sponsorship;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If the applicant is a dependent from another applicant:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; if the proof of family relationship cannot be established by the Family Registration Certificate (FRC) required under point 4.1, proof of family relationship through national civil status records;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If the applicant is a minor travelling with one or none of the parents\/legal guardians:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; birth certificate with official translation in English (i.e. done by official translator) showing both parents&#8217; names;<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; proof of consent by one (if travelling with the other except in case of a single parent having sole duly attested custody or guardianship) or two parents in an affidavit with details of the planned trip and name of sponsors\/guardians during the trip &#8211; verified signature of the parent\/s is obligatory;<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; copy of the non-travelling parent(s) Pakistani identity card(s) (CNIC(s)) and passport(s);<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; proof of enrolment at school and the NOC from the school with exact dates of travel;<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; copy of the Court order establishing family relationship or guardianship for the purpose of the intended detailed trip (when applicable);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>If the applicant is a student:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8211; proof of enrolment at university and student&#8217;s card;<\/li>\n<li>&#8211; Non Objection Certificate (NOC) from the University stating exact dates of travel of the student.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><span
